Bcompiler

The PHP module bcompiler allows you to transform your PHP scripts into bytecode. This means the resulting bytecode cannot be read easily. However, it is possible to reconstruct the original source code using debugging/disassembling techniques. Additionally, bcompiler requires your clients to activate the bcompiler module of their PHP installation

FWD PHP Encoder

The FWD PHP Encoder modifies the original sources by calculating hash values of function/variable names. This makes the source code effectively unreadable/understandable, but avoids the disadvantage of using custom loaders. You get unlimited conversions with no time limits on your license.

PHP Encoders with custom loaders

Most PHP Encoders use their own custom algorithms to encode your PHP sources into bytecode. However, the original sources are not modified and so are still vulnerable to get hacked. Additionally, these encoders require your clients to install their loaders to run your PHP scripts. Some products also have time limits on their license, requiring you to renew the license periodically.
